The very first BIG Business Conference and Expo was held yesterday at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre. I am really happy to have had the opportunity to run a workshop at the event with Ory, and to have our own stall within the event. The Shoalhaven Business Chamber really have done a fantastic job of pulling the event together with Events by Billie-Jade.
Our stall attracted quite a lot of interest and generated 7 legitimate opportunities to do business with other great organisations in the area. The fact that we sell a B2B service definitely helped, but for the sake of branding I would recommend a stall to any business in the area. Regardless of generating leads and growing your brand, it’s just great to spend a day with like minded people, also based here in the Shoalhaven.
Our Workshop – Business Without Borders
Running our workshop at the expo was awesome. Richard Branson once said “When you speak from the heart, the words always flow.” With that idea in place, the fact that Ory and I were totally winging it and still managed to deliver a cracking presentation is quite reasonable proof that are genuine about what we do and why we do it. Thanks again to the Business Chamber for considering us to run a Workshop. All in all, it was a great day.
