Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create SEO strategies to capture and convert qualified traffic from search engines
  • Measure, track, report, and analyse website analytics and data in order to implement strategies with corresponding team members to achieve maximum ROI for the client
  • Execute tests and experiments and analyse results in order to implement the prime optimum strategy
  • Perform keyword research and ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation
  • Optimise landing pages for search engine marketing
  • Continually research and implement search engine optimisation recommendations
  • Develop and implement link building strategies for a range of industries
  • Conduct competitor and market research to contribute to the creation of an up-to-date & relevant strategy
  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on websites
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
  • Recommend changes to website content, linking, and other factors to improve rankings positions for target keywords


To complete all of the deliverables the right candidate will have experience with the following:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ)
  • Understanding of industry terms (eg. Bounce Rate, Sessions, Canonical tag, DA, PA, Long Tail, AMP, CRO, KPI, ROI etc)
  • Experience in the search marketing or data analysis fields preferred  
  • Basic understanding of how the World Wide Web and internet bots work
  • Basic understanding of Google My Business
  • Basic Understanding of WordPress
  • Enjoy working closely within a team to achieve campaign KPIs
  • A strong desire and curiosity to learn new tools, techniques and gain further knowledge in SEO and data science
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in an evolving environment
  • Intuitive, analytical & creative mindset


Reports To: Head Search Marketer

Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications

Position: Permanent part-time
