About the client
Who they are
Jervis Bay Wild has been a Webics client since 2014. They started with a single boat out of Huskisson Wharf. Today they run a fleet, multiple locations and a family of brands up and down the coast, taking people out to see humpbacks on migration, resident dolphins, sea caves and a national park coastline you can only meet by water.
A tourism business lives or dies on the gap between someone deciding they want to go and someone actually booking. Every second of loading, every extra tap, every moment of hesitation about which cruise is the right one, is a booking that quietly does not happen. Ten years of growth had also left a website carrying more than it needed to.
The solution
What Webics delivered
Webics rebuilt the site around two things: speed, and how it actually feels to book a cruise.
It is Built with Webics, our own platform. No WordPress, no database, no plugins. Every page is finished and waiting on the server before a visitor asks for it, which matters when someone is standing on Huskisson Wharf on holiday reception deciding what to do tomorrow.
The booking panel sits in the hero on every screen size, with live availability and the cancellation policy stated up front rather than buried. The cruises are laid out so the difference between them is obvious at a glance: how long, what season, what you will see. Real guest reviews and the fleet's own photography carry the rest, because nothing sells a whale cruise like a whale.
Behind all of it, the SEO campaign has been running since day one. Almost nobody books a whale cruise from a shop window. They search, from home, weeks out, or from a phone in a caravan park the night before. Getting Jervis Bay Wild in front of those people is the whole job, and the campaign has grown with them, following the business up and down the NSW east coast as they added locations and brands.
Alongside it, Webics keeps the Google Business Profile accurate through a season that changes month to month, runs Search Console and Analytics so the team can see what people search for before they book, and looks after their Google Workspace email and IT.
