About the client

Who they are

The Airlie Fairy Foundation is a registered charity in North Nowra, NSW. It was founded by Airlie's family, in honour of their daughter, who passed away in March 2025.

The foundation works on practical support for children and families navigating disability, neurodiversity, grief and complex support systems. Its first project is the Wings & Swings Playground Initiative, an inclusive, sensory-friendly playground in North Nowra being developed in partnership with Shoalhaven City Council.

The foundation's website and its donations ran on a fundraising platform. It needed a site of its own that tells the family's story in their words, explains the work, and takes donations once-off or monthly, without a donor ever having to ring or email to change or stop a monthly gift.

The solution

What Webics delivered

Webics designed and built the new website and put it live on airliefairy.org in October 2026. It is a fast static site on the Webics platform, hosted in the cloud, so there are no plugins to patch.

Our Story is told by the family, in their own words. The foundation's four areas of work each have their place: supporting families, building better communities, creating practical solutions and honouring every child.

The Wings & Swings Playground Initiative has its own page, with a link straight to Shoalhaven City Council's consultation so anyone can have their say on the playground.

Donors choose a once-off or monthly gift and an amount on the site, then pay through secure online payments. Every gift is receipted by email straight away, with the details a donor needs to claim it at tax time.

Monthly donors have a page of their own. They ask for a link by email, then update their card, look back over past gifts or stop giving themselves. Nobody has to ring the foundation to change a gift.

Links to the old donation pages still work and land on the new ones. The foundation has a private admin showing the donations made through the site, with donor totals that export by Australian financial year.

We set up Google Analytics and Search Console on the site. Webics hosts it and looks after it.

Every screen size

Made for mobile.

Most visitors will meet The Airlie Fairy Foundation on a phone, so the mobile experience is designed first, not shrunk to fit. The donation form and the page for managing a monthly gift are both laid out for a phone screen, with nothing to pinch or zoom.

Scroll inside the phone to browse the whole page.
