Community organisations ask more of a website than most businesses do. The same site has to recruit members, sell event tickets, take donations, list a directory, publish news and satisfy funding bodies, often administered by volunteers whose time is the scarcest resource of all.
We have built exactly that: chamber websites with paid member directories and renewals running through WooCommerce, charity sites that make giving and getting help equally easy, and co-op stores that sell to the community that owns them.
