Who they are
NCG Movers is a family-run removalist business based in the Shoalhaven, owned and operated by Nathan, Cassandra and Georgia. They move homes, offices and commercial premises across the Shoalhaven, Illawarra and Southern Highlands, plus Sydney, Canberra and interstate.
Their old website was built elsewhere on WordPress, and came to Webics when we took over their hosting. It ran on an off-the-shelf theme with no child theme.
Three testimonial pages still carried placeholder Lorem ipsum, credited to "John Doe", and had been live and open to search engines since March 2024. WordPress's default "Hello world!" post was still up. The contact page had no search description at all. The home page promised six services, and the services page described four.
The photography was generic stock, including a stock photo of two strangers captioned "Our Team". Not one photograph on the site showed NCG's own trucks or crew.
The solution
What Webics delivered
Webics redesigned and rebuilt the site from scratch and put it live in October 2026. Every page was rebuilt as a fast static build, hosted in the cloud, so there are no plugins to patch.
The trucks and crew in the photographs are NCG's own. A visitor sees the business they are about to hire, branded truck and all, not a stock image of someone else's.
All six services have their place on the services page, and interstate moves and commercial removals each have a page of their own.
The free quote form sits beside the headline on the home page and goes straight to the business. It asks for what a quote actually needs: where they are moving from and to, the date and the service.
Every page address from the old site still works, so links and search results already out there land on the new pages. The Lorem ipsum pages and the "Hello world!" post are gone.
At launch, Google's PageSpeed test scored the site's key pages 96 to 98 on mobile. We verified the site in Search Console and submitted its sitemap. Webics hosts it and looks after it.
