About the client
Who they are
Ausmines is an unlisted mineral exploration company based in Brisbane. It holds copper and gold, rare earth, and potash and phosphate projects in the Mount Isa Inlier and the Cloncurry district of North West Queensland.
The company needed a website that investors and advisers could read before asking for technical material. It had to set out each project clearly and invite serious interest, without the trappings of a listed miner: no share price, no news feed and no careers page.
The ausmines.com address had not carried a working website for years.
The solution
What Webics delivered
Webics designed and built the website and put it live on ausmines.com in October 2026. It is a fast static build, hosted in the cloud, so there are no plugins to patch.
Every project page follows the same seven headings in the same order, from location and access through to next steps, so a reader can compare the copper and gold, rare earth, and potash and phosphate projects side by side.
We reset the company's own logo to read AUSMINES, corrected the wordmark, which sat off-centre in the supplied artwork, and arranged a horizontal version for the white header, with a reversed version for dark backgrounds and a full favicon set. The Australia locator map was recoloured to the brand orange, with its legend set as type.
Investors and advisers have a Register Interest page of their own, and a contact form handles general, media, landholder and investor enquiries. Every enquiry is stored before it is emailed, at the company's request, and carries its own reference number.
Old addresses still work. The .com.au domain and pages from the company's early-2000s website redirect to the new site.
At launch, Google's PageSpeed test scored the home page 96 on mobile, and the About, Contact and Rare Earths pages 100. Every page has its own search title and description. We set up Google Analytics and Search Console and submitted the sitemap. Webics hosts the site and looks after it.
