Branding
We designed the logo too
The Weekend Activities identity was drawn by Webics, not handed to us. The logo, the colours and the website were decided together, which is why the brand fits the site instead of being fitted to it.

About the client
Weekend Activities is our own travel publisher, owned and run by Webics. It answers one question for people across NSW: it is the weekend, where are you pointing the car? Every guide covers somewhere we have actually been, from the South Coast to Sydney, the Central Coast and beyond.
Being ours, it is also the site we can be judged by. There was no client brief to hide behind. The brand, the design, the platform, the content system and the search strategy are all Webics work, end to end.
The solution
Webics drew the WA monogram identity in-house and built a full design system around it: a deep ink ground, a sky blue accent and a warm sand highlight, carried through every page, the favicons and the share cards. The photography leads and the interface stays out of its way.
The site is Built with Webics, our own platform. No WordPress, no database, no plugins. Every page is finished HTML waiting on the server before the visitor asks for it, which is why it is fast on a phone in a car park with one bar of reception, where a weekend actually gets planned.
The centrepiece is the weekend finder. Tell it who is coming and what the sky is doing, and it cuts the full list of activities down to the ones that actually suit. Behind it sits a structured content model of places, activities and guides, a publishing system that ships new guides every week, and a search strategy built on real Search Console evidence rather than guesswork.
Every screen size
Most visitors will meet Weekend Activities on a phone, so the mobile experience is designed first, not shrunk to fit. Fast loads, thumb-friendly buttons and click-to-call everywhere it counts.

More than the website
Webics did more than one job for Weekend Activities. Here is the rest of it.
